While on duty on Saturday, August 6, 2011, Officer Jeremy Henwood stopped for a quick bite to eat at a local McDonalds, and without knowing it, provided his last act of kindness when he purchased a cookie for a young boy who didn’t have enough money. As he departed, Officer Henwood left that young boy with advice and words of encouragement to work hard to reach his goals. Officer Henwood and fellow like-minded officers, whose generosity and passion to support local youth, are invaluable & critical to the STAR/PAL mission. Thanks to our committed volunteers and support from local law enforcement agencies & other collaborative partners, STAR/PAL is able to empower underserved youth to build a safer and more prosperous community.
All proceeds from this event will benefit STAR/PAL youth programs & the SDPOA Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. To register, email the completed waiver/donation form to: Courtney Dalcour at email@example.com or for questions: (619) 533-5720.
